Meet Joe Goldner - Running for Broward County Sheriff

April 18th, 2020 - Fort Lauderdale
Can you share a little about your background and how you got started?

I have over 40 years of experience in law and law enforcement. Started the first block watcher program in Queens NY. I was part of the auxiliary program and the jump street program. Worked in the 70 PCT and part of the security team at the Midwood Field Concerts. Started the Skillman Avenue Merchants Association and was a supervisor for the 1990 Census in Manhattan. I am a certified paralegal and investigator for Supreme Court Judge Paul C Mathews

After I moved to Sunrise, Florida, I was an skip-tracer and bounty hunter working with Dog Chapman and others. I was hired as a consultant for many law enforcement agencies from federal, state and local jurisdictions. I ran for Congress in 2012 and have been a political consultant for many candidates. I have one of the largest social media networks in the country, if not the world.

Which Republican or conservative thinkers inspire you both past and present?

For the past it has to be Ronald Reagan for his personality, his wit, and the way he handled himself.
For the present it is President Trump for his way of being no holds barred attitude, straight talk and how he handles the attacks on him. Governor DeSantis the same way, the way they handles critical situations and not letting others detour them from their goals.

Is crime an important issue for Broward County?  If so, which types of crimes need addressing the most? And which other areas of public service can a Sheriff Get involved with?

Crime is an extremely important issue in Broward County, large crime venue of drug pushing, addiction, prostitution, hard core crimes like murder, assault, domestic violence and then crimes like filling false police reports as a way to harass a particular person. Bullying is very big too as well as enablers and indoctrination to basically rape people of their dignity and self-respect and self-esteem.

I am big in exposing corruption in the Broward County Court House, government agencies like Children and Family Services and have exposed the corruption in places like the Town of Davie and their corrupt police department. I also exposed the promise program and the corruption at the Broward County Schools including Robert Runcie, Millions of dollars are missing and I have asked for an independent audit from the Justice department to take active role in that audit to find the monies, even the teachers raises are missing.
This is just a short list plus the corruption here in the BSO including asking why a member of a terrorist group CAIR is a deputy in the BSO. That needs to be addressed.

Are you more of a Stalwart Registered Republican, Libertarian or other with respect to your political thought process?
I am a registered Republican and a conservative but as Sheriff you need to protect and serve all the people in Broward County. We need a real sheriff not a political hack, we had enough of those with Scott Israel and now Sheriff Tony. We need a sheriff that will has his rank and file, the deputies back and support them and also fight for the safety of everyone in the county.

How do you plan on getting the word out there to increase the vote?

As I said before, I have one of the largest social media networks in the country, we have an ad out in MetroGuys Magazine, radio show interviews, as well as next week virtual debate. When things get better, we will be out doing rallies, events and more press conferences like I did at the Broward County Court House exposing corruption at the court along with 3 corrupt judges.

Any favorite quotes? Motivational, Humorous or otherwise...

Always dream, fight for your dreams, make them happen and win!

Anything additional you'd like to add? Why vote for you?

I am a fighter, I fight for what I believe, I fight for what is right and I will fight to Make Broward County Safe Again!
